The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights participated in the United Nations Summit of the Future, held at the UN headquarters in New York.
This participation continues the association
s journey in contributing to the Pact for the Future, which it helped shape during its participation in the Nairobi Conference last May. The association presented the civil societys vision to enhance the protection of human rights in the future
 
 
‏The Summit on the Future comes at a time when the world is facing numerous challenges in various fields. The Pact for the Future represents an opportunity to reshape the worlds future based on the principles of digital justice, achieving sustainable development goals, equality among people, empowering women, and ensuring the contribution of youth in shaping that future.
 
 Pact for the Future includes international commitments to implement 56 measures aimed at enhancing international security and peace, ensuring the fair and comprehensive implementation of sustainable development goals, financing for development, digital cooperation, and AI governance. It also ensures youth and future generations participation in decision-making.
 
 AMHRI continues its efforts to promote human rights and achieve sustainable development as part of its National Vision 2025. Through pioneering initiatives for empowering women and youth, the UAE enhances their role in community development. The country also plays a leading role in international forums to support human rights issues and contribute to shaping global policies that promote peace and security.
