The association’s team will take part in a number of official meetings and side events during the session, where it plans to deliver briefings and interventions on the situation of women in the Arab world, particularly highlighting the humanitarian and human rights challenges facing women amid ongoing political developments and armed conflicts in several countries of the region.

AMHRI’s interventions will address several key issues, including:

The impact of armed conflicts on women and girls in the Arab region.

Violations related to gender-based violence in conflict settings.

Challenges facing women in accessing justice and legal protection.

The importance of strengthening women’s participation in peacebuilding and sustainable development.

The association emphasized that its participation in CSW70 reflects its continued commitment to advocating for women’s rights and supporting victims of human rights violations in conflict-affected areas, while contributing to bringing the voices of women in the Arab world to international platforms and UN decision-making forums.

AMHRI also expressed its readiness to strengthen cooperation with Member States, international organizations, and civil society partners in order to advance the protection of women’s rights and support women’s participation in peace and development across the Arab region.
