The Association for Human Rights and Immigration Assistance (AMHRI) is an independent, non-profit civil society organization of Yemeni-American origin with a global scope. It is officially registered in Yemen with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor under number (50/105) on June 17, 2007.
Recently, the organization was registered in New York, United States in 2022, and obtained tax-exempt status from the State of New York in 2023 with the number (3225634 - EIN:87). AMHRI is distinguished by its consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (Observer Status). The organization strives to advocate for and promote human rights principles according to international standards issued by the United Nations. It addresses migration challenges and partners in implementing sustainable development goals through enhancing empowerment and integration policies. AMHRI collaborates with various partners from the private sector, government sector, and humanitarian partners to contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and mitigating climate change.
